The Summit

The first annual youth-led Marin Summit on Climate Change will bring together students, their videos, speeches and projects with  global leaders in Climate Change in an all-day event.

It will serve as a place where students can learn the tools and science to help spur action in their communities. We hope to inspire and give weight to the idea that youth can create real change, not in the future, but now.

-- I hope to learn about how I can really make a difference regarding climate change.  Just thinking about how all the poor and less fortunate countries would get affected badly by the climate changes is really sad.  They don't have many resources.

-- I am passionate about politics and social justice and have found that environmentalism has everything to do with the welfare of humanity and public policy.  I  want to learn about the current state of the environment and how I can be productive and contribute to the betterment of society through work in my community.
